Dear Mr. Mclaughlin,

I am writing to express my interest in and request entry into your college. While looking for universities that would help me on my way to become an aerospace engineer, I found Georgia Tech and I am quite interested in your school. I believe your school would help me with my future career, and that i would be a worthy, hard-working student for you.

Throughout my educational path, I’ve kept good grades and have been working hard to keep a high standard for myself and making sure I undertand what I’m being taught.

I’ve always known that I wanted to be an engineer and I plan to apply at NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for a job in aeronautical engineering and construction. After watching their launches on tv and seeing how much we’ve learned from them and their research, I decided that I wanted to work there.

I am very honored to be writing this letter and would love to meet with you in person to furthur discuss possible entry into your school. Please feel free to use any of my contact methods (at the top) to reach me and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Thank you for your time and attention, Sean Spitler
